A man was found shot to death in a drain in Champs Fleur on Tuesday 27th June, 2023.
• At around 5:30am, a passerby was walking along the roadway near the Unilever compound, when he reportedly stumbled upon the body of a man lying face down in the drain.
• The man subsequently contacted the police and officers of the St Joseph Police Station responded.
• When the officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim’s lifeless body covered in gunshot injuries.
• The officers then summoned the D.M.O who arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead.
• The victim was reportedly clad in a black jersey, blue jeans and black and white slippers. He was also sporting a plait hairstyle and appeared to be in his late 20’s to mid-30’s.
