A man identified as Akira Herrera from Indian Walk, Moruga was standing along High Street in Princes Town, in the vicinity of the police station, when he was approached and stabbed by a man he knows only by a nickname.
Herrera made his way to the Princes Town Police Station while bleeding profusely and was taken to the Princes Town District Health Facility. He was then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH).
Investigations are continuing.
