Man killed by a vehicle driven by an off-duty cop on the PBR in Barataria…
A 35-year-old man died after a private car, driven by a police officer, struck him along the Priority Bus Route near Morvant Junction early on Saturday 9th July, 2022.
The deceased has been identified as Mc Kale Philbert.
The fatal crash took place just after 1am along the west-bound lane of the PBR between 8th Avenue and Morvant Junction.
Philbert was struck by a red Nissan Sylphy motor car registration PEA 2996. He was thrown several feet into the air and died at the scene.
Philbert died at the scene.
