Local dancehall artist Kalonji Arthur is recovering after he was shot inside a car at the car park of The Brix Hotel in Cascade on Friday 2nd September, 2022.
• Kalonji’s girlfriend, 25-year-old Bridget James, was killed during the incident when their vehicle was riddled with bullets.
• James had spent her 25th birthday at the hotel with Kalonji and police believe the couple gave away their location based on their statuses that were shared on social media.
• James was not involved in criminal activities and was a well-educated independent woman who excelled in the accounting arena.
