IAN WAS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH ONE OF THE TEENAGERS WHO WAS SHOT BY POLICE OFFICERS IN AN INCIDENT.

He was shot and one of the bullets exited and killed one of his three friends who all died in front of his eyes by bullets fired by the police.

This is a survivor’s story…

Hours after 3 young adult males were released from police custody without any charges, Ian was able to speak with one of the teenagers who was shot by police officers inside a white Toyota motor car in an incident that claimed the lives of three of his friends.

• 15-year-old Malachi Glen escaped death after he was grazed near the abdomen with a bullet hitting him in the right arm, exiting and hitting his friend 17-year-old Isaiah Roberts in the head, killing him at the scene. Roberts was the front seat passenger.

• 17-year-old Leonardo Williams and 21-year-old Fabien Richards were seated in the back seat of the car next to Malachi and they both died from bullets fired at them by the police.

• The driver of the vehicle and the passenger seated to Isaiah’s left was not injured in the shooting.

• Earlier today, I spoke with Malachi at his Laventille home and he said no one in the car had any firearms the police first fired shots in the air but the driver of the car got scared and drove off.

• Police later rammed their vehicle which crashed into the wall at republic bank. Officers emerged and pumped a hail of bullets on the car even though the occupants, including himself, had their hands in the air.
