Ian visited the El Carmen community on Thursday 6th October, 2022, where several homes were affected by severe flooding after the Caroni River burst its banks after heavy rains on Wednesday 5th October, 2022.
• Ian also met and spoke with Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan who visited the area along with the Director of Drainage Division and other Ministry officials to get a firsthand view of the flooding.
