23-year-old Darius Cooper of Mcintory Street, Roystonia was gunned down while at a car wash in Couva on Tuesday 18th April, 2023.
• At about 9:00pm, Cooper was liming at kings auto car wash at Caryota Drive, Roystonia with the owner, an amputee identified only as Buju, when a silver Nissan Tiida stopped in front of the business place.
• The front passenger exited the vehicle, walked up to Cooper and shot him multiple times before re-entering the car and fleeing the scene.
• Cooper reportedly ran a short distance away, before he collapsed and died.
• The police were alerted and officers of the homicide bureau region 3 are continuing investigations.
