A man was shot and killed in Valencia on Friday 14th April, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Ivan Lambkin, of Valencia Old Road, Valencia.
• At about 8:40pm, lambkin was liming a stone’s throw away from the Valencia Police Station, when several loud explosions rang out.
• The officers who were at the station, heard the series of gunshots and upon investigating they observed several people scampering for safety and Lambkin lying on the ground suffering from gunshot injuries.
• Lambkin was then taken to the Sangre Grande Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
• Lambkin was reportedly shot and wounded last year, as he was allegedly involved in drug-related activities.
• Before his death, he told his family members who would have been responsible for his death as he received threats.
