Ian Alleyne spoke with his Excellency Irfaan Ali, the President of Guyana, this evening during Crime Watch, regarding the incident that took place at the President’s official residence at Main, Carmichael and New Market Streets.
Reports are a Nigerian National was shot on Thursday morning after he unleashed a violent attack on policemen guarding the President’s official residence.
The First Family is safe and the area around the State House has been cordoned off by security forces.
