Classes at the Munroe Road Hindu Primary School were dismissed early after a man was gunned down outside the premises on Monday 01st May 2023.

• The deceased has only been identified as 41-year-old Ronnie Pierre of Connector Road, Carlsen Field.

• Around 10:20am, Pierre was at his Farm in Warren Road, Bejucal, when two armed men walked up and shot him before escaping in a Silver Toyota Hilux.

• Pierre died at the scene.

• While attempting to flee the scene, the suspects bounced down a man identified as 34-year-old Peter Charles of Endeavor.

• During the incident, 38-year-old Sunil Sieupersad of Bejucal, Cunupia was also chopped in the left wrist after he had a confrontation with the suspects and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
