I want you to look at this and see the risks faced by children of the San Francique Hindu Primary School whenever it rains in order to get to their school.
• This is a matter that officials of the ministry of works and transport are aware of and must urgently address in order to avoid any future incidents with the children.
• whenever rain falls, water accumulates on the road and pavement up to 2 feet and children cannot pass.
• letters of complaints have been sent to the MP for the area, Dave Tancoo, and the Ministry of Works but the situation remains unchanged.
• A child fell in the water on Monday while coming to school and this situation has been taking place for several months the moment it rains.
• There seems to be a collapsed tunnel in the middle of the road preventing the water from flowing out to the opposite side of the road.
• Earlier today a camera crew visited the area and we saw the woes faced by primary school children whenever its rains.
