Hours after a Laventille man was shot dead inside his room, his body was found by his mother who went to check on him.
36-year-old Jason Samuel aka Rat, was shot by at least three (3) assailants with a shotgun, 9mm pistol and 40 cal pistol at his Evans Trace, Block 22 Laventille home.
Around 1:15am on Monday 1st August 2022, multiple loud explosions were heard in the area but it was not until around 7:35am, that the victim was discovered murdered in his room by his mother.
He was shot in the face, head, chest and legs while on his bed.
