Hours after a CCTV video footage surfaced with men stealing 4 steel doors from a building at 129 Sawmill Street, Tunapuna on Monday 17th October 2022, the items were recovered at Farm Road Extension, St. Joseph also called Bangladesh.
• The footage showed the men stealing 4 steel front doors with frames valued at around $2500 each.
• According to reports the incident occurred around 7:51pm when the suspects entered the premises with a white KIA van registration number TCA 2610.
• Based on information received from an informant in the Bangladesh area, officers of the north central crime patrol were able to locate all the doors that were stolen.
• Relative to the report of larceny which occurred on 17/10/22 in the Tunapuna District, where 4 steel security doors valued $10,000.00 were stolen, on 19/10/22 information was received and members of the North Central Crime Patrol, which included PC Singh, PC Mc David, PC Ward, PC Johnson, PC Hercules and others went to Farm Road Extension, St. Joseph, where the stolen doors were recovered.
