Great Food Limited in E-Teck Park, Frederick Settlement, Caroni was robbed by two (2) men on Friday 23rd June, 2023.
• A security guard was reportedly making his way to the lower level of the security booth, when two men dressed in blue tactical clothing, ski masks, and gloves, armed with a crowbar, approached him and announced a robbery.
• The suspects beat up the guard before tying him up and taking him into the security booth, where he met two other guards who were also tied up.
• The bandits then turned off the electricity and went into the building where they robbed nine workers of their cell phones and other personal items, before locking them in a freezer.
• The suspects then made their way to the office area where they opened a safe and made off with $25,000.00. in cash.
• The guards managed to untie themselves and contacted the police who are carrying out investigations.
