A taxi driver was gunned down at the entrance to Price Plaza in Endeavour, Chaguanas on Friday 15th September, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Darrion Biggart of Orange Valley, Couva.
• Around 7:50 p.m., Biggart had just parked his silver b-14 at the side of the roadway.
• As he exited the vehicle, a lone gunman walked up to him and shot him multiple times, killing him at the scene.
• The suspect then made his escape and passersby contacted the police who arrived at the scene and declared Biggart dead.
• Relatives who were at the scene claimed that he recently received death threats and a report was made to the police, who allegedly took no action.
The last Ph Taxi driver that was killed in Price Plaza was 28-year-old Kristoff Salandy who was ambushed and shot dead near the Van Heusen Clothing store on Friday 05th February, 2021.
