Popular DJ Triston Dyer aka DJ Triston and two (2) other persons were expected to appear before a Sangre Grande Magistrate charged with alleged possession of a small portion of marijuana.
• According to a police report, between 10pm on Tuesday 2nd August and 2am on Wednesday 3rd August, officers of the Eastern Division Task Force, under the supervision of Acting Cpl Khan and Acting Sgt. Dickson, paid surveillance to a particular residence after receiving certain information.
• Officers said they later executed a search warrant at the home of 31-year-old DJ Triston at Oxford Street, Sangre Grande, and allegedly found 217grams of marijuana.
• Two other persons, who police said was present in the house during the search, were also taken into custody. They have been identified as 26-year-old Sheay Khan and 31-year-old Runette Warner both of Oxford Street, Sangre Grande.
• Police said the exercise was incident-free and PC Ragbir was listed as the complainant in the matter against the trio.
