Hours after it received complaints about land slippages and other issues affecting residents of Fairfield Housing Development in Princes Town, the HDC, led by its Managing Director visited the area and conducted assessments.
• HDC GM Jayselle McFarlene met and spoke with residents, headed by the Fairfield Estate Community Group’s President Ms. Agatha and Tiffany McKenzie, on Thursday 20th October, 2022.
• Minutes after the visit and assessment of the affected areas in the community, HDC posted on its Facebook page that the Corporation has hired professional geotechnical services to conduct assessments on the best course of action and submitted a report.
• “The next step is to build three (3) 3.5-meter-high piled retaining walls to prevent further slippage,” HDC said.
