A man known as a criminal offender was shot dead at his home in Arranguez on Sunday 19th March, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Dinesh Ragbir aka Pa, a known drug, firearm and larceny offender.
• Around 11:00pm, Ragbir was shot and killed while asleep at his home in Freddy Street, Aranguez.
• Relatives said that upon hearing the gunshots and made enquiries, they observed the armed suspect dressed in a dark-coloured hoodie, fleeing the scene.
• Police suspect that the motive for Ragbir’s murder was drug-related.
• Insp. Gonzales and Sgt. Ramoutar were among the officers at the scene.
