Around 9pm on Saturday 18th June, 2022, WPC Hamilton and WPC Rajkumar of the Mon Repos CID were on mobile patrol when they spotted Sanjay’s vehicle abandoned next to two dwelling houses at Stuart Street, Cocoyea, San Fernando.

The vehicle, which had apparent blood stains, was later wrecked by Rishi’s Wrecking Service to the Mon Repos Police Station and then to the Special Evidentiary Unit in Cumuto.

Deodath was last seen alive on Tuesday 14th June, 2022. His vehicle was spotted being driven along Saunders Road, St. Mary’s later that night, followed by a Nissan Almera motor car.

Multiple searches have been conducted for him by several NGOs and members of the Hunter Search and Rescue Team.

(Note: Thank you for the comments regarding the location the vehicle was found. While we accept it was not too far from the Pleasantville Secondary School, the police informed us that the area it was found is considered Cocoyea.

However, the dirt road where it was found is off Pleasantville Circular.)
