Cop’s arm amputated, 11 other colleagues injured in San Fernando accident after breakfast party…
12 off-duty cops were injured in a road traffic accident in San Fernando on Sunday 28th August, 2022.
The officers, who are said to be assigned to the Northern Division, were in a privately hired maxi which collided with a sedan along the entrance of the Gasparillo Link Road leading to the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
The injured officers were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for medical treatment.
We were told that doctors were forced to amputate the arm of one of the injured police officers during an operation at the San Fernando General Hospital.
The officers were told, they were coming from a party held at the Brian Lara Stadium when the accident happened.
