Copper bandits are believed to be involved in the disappearance of the 200-year-old brass bell from the St. John’s Anglican Church in Petit Bourg, San Juan.

• The bell was allegedly stolen over a month but was only recently noticed missing because it is only used for special occasions.

• The 200-year-old iconic bell, which is used for special occasions, was only recently discovered missing. Reports state that scrap iron thieves had also stolen manhole covers from around the church.
