• This comes on the heels of the country recording a record high of 607 murders, which is the highest in the country’s history.
• Member of the Joint Select Committee of Parliament on National Security, Jayanti Lutchmedial, during her questions to Commissioner Christopher, said given the present murder toll of 104, if such trajectory continues, the country could record over 1,000 murders by year’s end.
