CCTV video has emerged of the car involved in the murder of a Kelly Village Caroni shopkeeper which shows one of the suspects leaning out of the vehicle as they fled the scene, pointing a rifle at two vehicles.
• Gerard Larry Davis aka cheesy, was shot and killed at Kelly Village in Caroni near River Branch Road, on Sunday 11th September, 2022.
• Davis, a shopkeeper, died at the scene of the shooting. More than 30 spent 7.62 and 5.56 shells were found at the scene by crime scene investigators which led investigators to believe that two high-powered weapons were used in the attack.
• Around 7:30pm, officers of the Caroni Police Station responded to a report of several loud explosions in Kelly Village. Upon arriving, officers found the victim dead in front of his shop.
• The occupants of the white Nissan b-15 motor vehicle opened fire on Davis before fleeing the scene.
• As the getaway car drove away, one of the men in the front passenger seat pointed his gun at two vehicles which were making a turn to head in the opposite direction.
