Several youths were captured setting fire to the home of a relative of Raynold Anderson Victor who was shot and killed in San Juan on Tuesday 11th July, 2023.
• CCTV footage captured at least 10 boys tossing flambeaus at the house at 2nd Caledonia in Vegas, Morvant.
On Tuesday 11th July, 2023: A man was gunned down while three others were injured in San Juan.
• The deceased was identified as Raynold Victor of upper 7th Avenue, Malick, Barataria, who is reportedly the brother of murder accused Arnold Victor aka “Fox” who recently had a falling out with a rival gang.
• Around 8:55am, Victor was liming with a group of people at the corner of Saddle Road and Second Avenue in San Juan when a Toyota Yaris occupied by four men approached.
• The suspects then fired several shots at the group hitting the four victims.
• Victor sustained multiple gunshot injuries and died at the scene, while 35-year-old Jelissa Payne was shot in her back and right knee, a 40-year-old man was hit in the buttocks and right knee and a 59-year-old man sustained gunshot injuries to his back and left knee.
• The injured victims were taken to the hospital where Payne is currently in critical condition.
• Crime scene investigators (CSI) visited the scene and recovered 15 spent 7.62 mm shells.
