Two men were caught by officers of the St. Joseph North Central Crime Patrol Unit, moments after they broke into a jewelry store and stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry during the early hours on Tuesday 25th October, 2022.
• The suspects, identified as Kareem Bacchus and Kishaun Bissessar, were held as they were crawling out of the jewelry store by PC Singh and a party of other officers.
• The break-in took place at Khanai Ragbir Jewellers located along the Eastern Main Road in Curepe. All the stolen items were recovered by police who also seized house-breaking implements at the scene.
• The two suspects were later taken to the St. Joseph Police Station where they were expected to be questioned in connection with several other break-ins within the Northern Division.
