Augustine, the Chief Secretary of the THA, read the riot act to Duke at a press briefing on Thursday 8th September, stating that he intends to review Duke’s portfolios as Deputy Chief Secretary and determine if he (Duke) will remain with any portfolios at all, by the end of the weekend.
This latest development comes on the heels of a fallout between Duke and Augustine over a video Duke made in New York where he accused the THA of abandoning 27 Tobagonians and leaving them “hungry and sleeping with dead rats” while on a cultural trip in New York.
