• The public rift between both men stemmed from Duke’s video where he accused the THA executive, of which he is a member, of abandoning 27 Tobagonians who were part of a cultural trip to New York.
• After Duke’s video, Farley announced a review of his portfolios, with Duke firing Farley and two others as Deputy Political Leaders of the PDP’s Tobago arm.
• Augustine also dismissed claims of him receiving bribes and other wrongdoings saying he was waiting like a “Mapepire snake” to take the persons making such false and misleading accusations, to court where he’s confident that the matter will be resolved in his favour.
