Massy Stores at Gulf View La Romaine was robbed early on monday 22nd August 2022, by bandits dressed in tactical uniform.
• Around 5:00am, the manager of the branch, arrived and was in the process of opening the doors to the store when she was approached by two (2) men, dressed in police tactical gear, one armed with a gun.
• The armed assailants, held the manager and staff at gunpoint before escorting her to a room where they were able to steal an undisclosed sum of cash.
• The manager was tied up before the two suspects fled the scene.
In 2018: the same store was robbed around 6am by armed gunmen who ambushed staff members and stole a large amount of cash from the vault.
