Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne, on Sunday 24TH July 2022, threatened to sue the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for a remaining us$40 million dollars after failing to pay an agreed settlement of us$100 million dollars.
• The Prime Minister claims that the T&T government has not treated them with the respect that is customary for dealing with colleagues and government officials.
• He hopes that the increase in fuel prices will make it easier for the government of Trinidad and Tobago to pay their country the remaining $40 million. He proceeded to state that if this does not occur, he would have to take legal action against the Trinidad and Tobago government.
