Just hours after a woman was shot dead and a man injured in Wallerfield Arima, another man, who is yet to be identified was found shot to death inside a car along El Sequevo Road, Wallerfield, Arima on Sunday 11th December 2022.
• Around 9:20pm, a man was driving his car along Sequevo Road, when he heard several loud explosions.
• When he looked in his rear-view mirror, he noticed a car fleeing the scene west along the Eastern Main Road.
• Officers of the northern division task force responded to a report where they discovered a white Nissan Almera registration # PCN 3958 parked along the left side of the roadway with its lights and ignition on.
• Upon Further investigations, a man of African descent clad in a white t-shirt, blue 3/4 jeans, was discovered slumped between the front and back seat, with gunshot injuries to the head and back.
• 8 spent 9mm shell casings were recovered at the scene by Crime Scene Investigators.
• Police subsequently intercepted a dark-colored Nissan B-15 car which fitted the description of the car that fled the scene, however, the suspect was interviewed and allowed to leave.
