An unidentified man died at the hospital after he was found shot on the roadway at Ben Lomond Village, Williamsville, on Sunday 18th December, 2022.
• Around 8:45pm, several loud explosions were heard on the roadway and upon making checks, a 72-year-old man discovered the body on the roadway with multiple gunshot injuries to the face and head.
• A report was made to the Gasparillo police station and CPL Roopnarine and PC Felmin responded to the report where they found the victim gasping for breath.
• The victim, was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries around 10:15pm.
• The victim is believed to be a Venezuelan national, slim built, light brown in complexion, approximately 5ft. 8 inches tall.
• He was clad in a polka-dot shirt, blue long jeans and a white sneakers.
• One black cell phone, a black cap and $156 were found at the scene by crime scene investigators and at the hospital, a nurse handed over to police a black leather wallet, one (1) gold chain, $303ttd and $1usd.
