On Monday 5th December 2022:
• An unarmed employee of Westco Foods Unlimited Company located at Century Drive, Macoya, Tunapuna, was robbed of thousands of dollars while performing cash-in-transit duties for the company in Tunapuna.
• Around 4:10pm, the 56-year-old Tacarigua man, was on his way to a commercial bank in Trincity when his vehicle was struck by a Nissan Almera motorcar as he attempted to turn right onto Galdioli Boulevard.
• The victim said he stopped and exited the car to make enquiries and was later held up and robbed of the bag with the cash and cheques by three men. PC Ifill of the Tunapuna CID is probing the incident.
