An Arima man was found shot to death inside his Carapo home by police officers early on Saturday 31st December, 2022.
• The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old David Nath Bleasdell, of Queen Drove, Race Course Road Carapo, Arima.
• Around 6:30 am on Saturday, Cpl. Durity and PC Phillips received information from an anonymous informant of a suspected homicide at Lp 53 -2 Race Course Road Carapo, and proceeded to that location.
• Upon arrival, they proceeded to a blue-colored, wooden house, in the vicinity of ‘Mahes Meat Supplies’ at Queen Dr. Race Course Rd, Carapo, Arima where officers discovered Bleasdell in a bedroom with several gunshot wounds about the body.
• Crime Scene Investigators retrieved eleven (11) 9mm spent shells & Seven (7) 5.56mm spent shells at the scene.
Among the officers who visited the scene were Insp. Davidson, Cpl Gonzales and PC Jones of the Region 3 Homicide Bureau of Investigations. PC Haradath of the HBI is probing the incident.
