A man was shot and killed in front of his Penal home on Monday 24th April, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 30-year-old linesman, Adesh Heeralal a father of one from Wilson Road, Clarke Road, Penal.
• Around 7:45pm, Heeralal was inside his home when he was called out by a man known to him identified as Ramraj Ramdass aka Conquerer.
• When he went to the front of his house, he met Conquerer and another man who reportedly shot him, before fleeing the scene.
• Heeralal sustained gunshot injuries in his arm, leg and stomach and ran a short distance away where he collapsed in his father’s home.
• Heeralal was then taken to the Siparia district health facility where he succumbed to his injuries.
• Crime scene investigators later visited the scene and recovered two spent 9 mm casings and a projectile.
Conqueror’s brother 43-year-old Khanta Ramdass who was a construction worker of the Barrackpore area was found riddled with bullets at the side of the roadway in Barrackpore on Saturday 08th April, 2023.
