According to Duke, at his press conference at the PDP Headquarters in Barataria, he will fight the PNM for control of Port of Spain adding that the party has neglected its constituents for many years.
• He said he has absolutely no intention of fighting with Farley because Farley was not in his league.
• Many expected a press briefing from Farley earlier today where he would have announced what decision, if any, was taken by the executive against Duke, but this did not happen, and Duke instead held a press conference where he announced his resignation.
