A WOMAN WAS SHOT AND KILLED WHILE INSIDE A CAR NEAR THE ST. JOSEPH POLICE STATION LAST NIGHT AND OFFICERS OUTSIDE THE STATION HEARD THE GUNSHOTS.

• The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Siobhan Rogers, a lab director at Apex Diagnostics, who lived at First Flats Maracas/St. Joseph.
• Her boyfriend, 35-year-old Edson Breedy, a medical doctor at the Mt. Hope Hospital escaped unharmed as shots were fired at him just as he and Rogers were leaving his business Edson Breedy Athletics located at Abercromby Street in St. Joseph.
• Around 8:45pm, as Dr. Breedy was securing his business, a silver Nissan AD wagon registered PDG 473 approached.
• A man with a black bandanna over his face approached the victim’s vehicle, PCN 9875 a silver Corolla and opened fire on Rogers who was seated in the car.
• Dr. Breedy ran off and when he returned, he saw his girlfriend unresponsive nursing gunshot injuries about her body. He drove her to the Mt. Hope Hospital but she was pronounced dead at 9:13pm.
• Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene and recovered two (2) spent 40 caliber rounds and 1 live 40 caliber round.
• Sgt Ramoutar, Cpl. Emmanuel, PC Lopez, and WPC Billy of the Region 2 Homicide Bureau of Investigations were among the officers who visited the scene. PC Seetaram and WPC Francois of the St. Joseph CID were the officers who first responded to the shooting.
