Residents call for police patrols after a woman was reportedly ambushed and robbed by three (3) men at her home in Couva on Thursday 30th March, 2023.
• CCTV footage captured the three assailants jumping the gate to gain access into the home at Grant Trace, Beaucarro in Couva.
• Shortly after, the owner of the home ran outside and seemingly tried opening her gate to alert neighbours, but to no avail.
• She then proceeded to climb over her gate when she was followed by one of the suspects who attempted to stop her.
• Couva South MP, Rudranath Indarsingh called on the CoP, Erla Christopher and Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds to come together to implement measures to decrease the number of home invasions which continuously occur within the Couva South constituency.
