A woman was found murdered near a house located opposite the Claxton Bay Cemetery earlier today, Thursday 19th January, 2023.

A woman was found murdered near a house located opposite the Claxton Bay Cemetery earlier today, Thursday 19th January, 2023.
• The victim was identified as 41-year-old Leela Ramsubhag, a mother of two (2), of Charles street in Gasparillo.
• Around 9:30am, CPL Baboolal and WPC Baptiste were on mobile patrol when they got a report of a woman lying motionless in the vicinity of the southern main road in Claxton Bay.
• Upon arrival, they discovered the victim lying face down with blood coming out of her nose and the back of her head.
• She was also topless, clad in a black legging pulled below her buttocks, with a pair of black rubber slippers near her body.
• It is believed that Ramsubhag was assaulted and killed as she was found nude, with blood to the back of her head and anus.
