A vendor was shot in the face in broad daylight at the corner of Broadway and south quay in downtown Port of Spain on Thursday 14th July, 2022.
• 30-year-old Joel Williams, of St. Paul Street, east dry river Port of Spain was shot in the head by a man dressed in a wasa jersey and black fishers around midday.
• The suspect then ran towards the highway in the direction of sea lots where he made his escape. Police believe he may have escaped in a waiting vehicle.
• Williams, who usually sells bottled water in the area, was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital by police officers where he was treated and remains warded.
