A teenage boy was shot and killed in La Horquetta on Saturday 22nd July, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Kaylon Kashif Jacob of Winston Mulligan Drive, Phase Four, La Horquetta.
• Around 9:45pm, Jacob, who is an entrepreneur, reportedly went to deliver food to someone in Ken Morris Street, when residents heard several loud explosions and contacted the police.
• Officers of the Northern division responded and discovered Jacob’s lifeless body with multiple gunshot wounds at the side of the road.
• The officers then summoned a DMO who visited the scene and declared Jacob dead.
