A suspect who staged a robbery at a store along the southern main road in Curepe, was later arrested and the gun used in the offence seized by police.
• Police said a female victim was conducting sales at her Curepe business place on Tuesday 26th July, 2022, when two men entered and purchased some items and left.
• One of the men later then returned with a firearm and announced a robbery. The victim was relieved of a quantity of valuables and goods before the suspects made their escape.
• Officers of the St. Joseph Criminal Investigations Department, who were in patrol, responded to the report and later held one of the suspects at Broome Street, Curepe. The 23-year-old Princes Town man was found to be in possession of a gun and four rounds of ammunition.
