A student of the Siparia West Secondary School, almost lost his eye after he was hit with a bottle in his eye by students who were playing a game called “battle war” on Thursday 17th November, 2022.
• Reportedly, the student was walking back to his classroom with two of his friends when he was hit with a bottle that was intended for someone else.
• The student was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital to see the eye specialist who informed the student’s parents that he developed an eye infection, which caused a slight blur in his vision.
• The student who threw the bottle filled with water is yet to be identified.
