A St. Mary’s Moruga woman was stabbed to death by her daughter, who was later arrested by police, during a dispute at their home on Sunday afternoon.
• 66-year-old Patsy Ramcharan was reportedly stabbed approximately 40 times by her daughter 34-year-old Rinelle Johnson at their white trace, St Mary’s village home.
• Around 1.45 p.m. Ramcharan was at home cooking when she had an argument with her daughter who stabbed her several times about the body, even as the woman tried to escape the attack.
• Ramcharan was taken to the Princes Town district hospital where she subsequently died.
• Both mother and daughter were expected to spend Christmas in the United States and their tickets were already purchased.
