A shooting that took place at a vegetable and fruit stall in Valencia on Friday 06th August, 2022, left a man dead and his brother injured.
• The victims were identified as 24-year-old Ishmael Ramdeen and his brother, Antonio Emanuel Ramdeen, of Cumaca Extension, Valencia.
• Around 5:25pm, the brothers were conducting sales at the stall near LP#83 Valencia Old Road, when a vehicle approached.
• A man dressed in a black hoodie exited the vehicle and fired several shots at the brothers.
• Ishmael was shot in his head and body while his younger brother was shot in his left thigh.
• Ishmael died while undergoing surgery at the Arima Health Facility, while his brother remains warded at the hospital in stable condition.
