A shooting incident took place after 3pm on Thursday at the Port of Spain Mayor’s home in Perseverence Road, Moka, Maraval.

Reports are a bandit jumped a wall of the Mayor’s residence when shots were fired, hitting the gardener who is now hospitalised.

The police are conducting investigations.
