A shooting at Sixth Avenue, Malick, Barataria, left two (2) men dead and three (3) injured on Saturday 10th September, 2022.
• The deceased men were identified as 39-year-old Kunta Andrews and Anthony Sergeant both of Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick, Barataria.
• While the injured victims are Kamine Naitram, Racquel Rodriguez and Anton St. Vincent.
• According to police around 5:45pm officers on patrol responded to a shooting at Upper Sixth Avenue, Barataria. Upon arrival, they were informed that five persons were shot and taken to the Mt. Hope Hospital.
• Police said around 5:39pm, the victims were liming with a group of people when a black motor vehicle drove by and two men exited and opened fire on the group before fleeing the scene.
