A severed head was found in a drain running alongside the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in Maloney on Thursday 24th November, 2022:
• The human head of African descent with a low haircut and neatly cut beard is yet to be identified.
• The head was found in a drain, on the eastbound lane of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of the walkover.
• The body was not found and there was no other evidence related to the head, nearby.
• Visiting the scene was Snr. Supt Francis, Asp Douglas, no.13967 Sgt Ramoutar and officers from the Homicide Bureau Region 2.
• The head was removed by funeral home workers and taken to the forensic science center for swabbing.
