The country is now two (2) murders away from reaching the 400 mark, after two (2) more murders were recorded.
A scrap metal dealer was shot and killed in Claxton Bay early on Wednesday 06th September, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as Trevaughn Mitchell of La Sophie Street, Claxton Bay who was the owner and operator of Nu Image Metal.
• Around 7:00 a.m., Mitchell was reportedly in his vehicle near his home when he was ambushed and shot multiple times about the body, killing him at the scene.
Mitchell was the second scrap metal dealer to be gunned down in the Claxton Bay area within the past two weeks.
Just on Sunday 27th August, 2023, 27-year-old Kerdell Marcano also known by his alias “Crabby” of St John Trace Extension in Claxton Bay was shot and killed at Hibiscus Drive, Claxton Bay.
