A Santa Cruz man was shot and killed while walking along the Street in Morvant on Saturday 25th February 2023.
• The dead man has been identified as 27-year-old Akiel Collins Johnson who lived at La Canoa Road in Santa Cruz and also by his grandmother at Cassia Street in Morvant.
• Around 7:10 pm, Johnson was walking along Marigold Crescent at Coconut Drive in Morvant when upon reaching the corner of Chrysanthemum Drive, he was shot at by several men.
• He was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
