A Sangre Grande man was found shot to death near his Unity Lane, Blake Avenue, Extension Sangre Grande home on Friday 6th January, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old David Hinds of Blake Avenue, Sangre Grande.
• Around 12:30 pm a neighbour was walking along a track off Unity Lane and later stumbled upon a body which was later identified as Hinds.
• Hinds’s body was clad in a black coloured T-shirt, black trousers, multi-colored slippers, a black balaclava on his head, and lying face down with two gunshot injuries to the left side of his head.
• The police were contacted and a party of police officers from the Sangre Grande Police Station and Homicide Bureau Region 2 Office responded.
• Among the officers who visited the scene were Snr. Supt. Khan, Ag ASP Douglas, Insp. Ramlakhan, Acting Cpl Osouna, WPC Stewart, WPC King, and other officers.
